In 2015, we founded Happy Little Brush Strokes with a simple, heartfelt mission: to bring the pure, uncomplicated joy of painting out of formal galleries and directly into everyday spaces. We wanted to create an environment where art felt welcoming, relaxed, and deeply personal. From the very beginning, we chose to completely ditch rigid stencils and carbon-copy outlines because we believe the real magic of art lies in authentic self-expression. Our service was born to give families, friends, and communities a place to slow down, connect, laugh, and discover that they are capable of creating something beautiful from scratch.
When you sit down to paint at your event, you are painting alongside a lifetime of creative passion. As your Master Artist, I bring over 50 years of drawing and painting experience, combined with 45 years as a professional musician. Art and rhythm have shaped my entire life, and bringing those two worlds together on the canvas is what makes our sessions truly unique.
Often called "hands down, the most patient instructor ever" by hosts all across Long Island, my absolute favorite part of this journey is guiding people who think they don't have a creative bone in their body. I don't just teach techniques; I focus on breaking down complex layers into simple, encouraging steps so that you feel entirely successful. My teaching style is high-energy, deeply entertaining, and completely pressure-free. We blend the natural flow of music and storytelling into the painting process to ensure that the room stays lighthearted, the laughs keep rolling, and you leave not just with a finished masterpiece, but with a wonderful memory.
